  Über die Malerin Lucille Cranwell ist in Auckland, Neuseeland, geboren und studierte dort an verschiedenen Kunsthochschulen. Seit 1983 lebt und malt die Künstlerin in London, die Stadt, die sie magisch anzog. Galerien unterhält sie in Frankfurt/M. und London.

Ihr künstlerisches Selbstverständnis beschreibt Lucille Cranwell wie folgt:

'I have two subjects both linked inextricably - The first being people; I find them most attractive to record when they are relaxed - sitting, talking, eating, walking, waiting, watching - This all takes place inside or outside some sort of building. The backdrop of an old city like London or Rome is perfect. The endless layering of architectural styles and their juxtaposing continues to fascinate me; One of the best ways to see them is on a bus, or on foot. To convey the humour, humanity and spirit of the people and buildings is what matters to me.'

  Über die Schriftstellerin Neben dem Gründen und Verwalten von Limited Companies ist Katharina Rist auch schriftstellerisch tätig. Seit 1986 veröffentlicht sie Lyrik und Kurzprosa im Rundfunk, in Anthologien und eigenständigen Veröffentlichungen und beendet zur Zeit ihren zweiten Roman.
